Mesmerizing long tracks that explore the boundaries of drum and bass, breakbeat jungle tekno. Images of a far dystopian new world order are found. On Repetitive Future the pioneering & legendary producer Digital co-ops with Response in true functional form the realms of the drum and bass spectre which results in moody ambient deep pads, boldly constructed heavy beat structures, and blissfully melodic liquid breaks to full effect. The Mancunian duo explores the ability to corrupt.
All tracks mastered by the legendary Stuart Hawkes at Metropolis Mastering.
This beautiful crafted crystal clear limited edition vinyl 3×12″(no crystal clear repress) comes in a new designed Tempo Records high quality outer sleeve + a white glossy innersleeve and completely sealed.

Mit so breiten wie dunklen Pinselstrichen, getränkt von der vielfarbigen Palette des britischen Hardcore Continuums, malt das aus Manchester stammende Duo Response & Pliskin auf der zweiten LP von Tempo Records ein episch-dystopisches Klanggemälde, das Bild eines düsteren Futurismus, von einer Sonde, einsam unterwegs, zu uns gefunkt aus den tiefsten Tiefen des kalten, menschenleeren Weltalls. Ein Album, das neu und up to date klingt, sicherlich aber auch in der Release-Liste von Goldies Metalheadz in den Mittneunzigern des vergangenen Jahrhunderts nicht fehl am Platze gewesen wäre – woran man auch sehen kann, wie weit seiner Zeit voraus dieses damals war. Passend dazu findet sich mit „Head Of The Buccaneer” auch eine Zusammenarbeit mit Metalheadz-Kollaborateur Digital auf dem Album.
Doch auch allein machen Response & Pliskin wahrlich keine Gefangenen. Auf den episch langen Tracks – mitunter elf bis 14 Minuten – geschieht so einiges, von hypnotischem Techstep-Geklopfe bis hin zu wild übereinander stolpernden Jungle-Breaks, von düster unterkühltem Deepspace-Bass bis souligem Liquid-Funk oder minutenlangen Ambient-Breaks – das Manchester-Duo hat sein Handwerk gelernt, und dieses Album ist der beste Beweis dafür.
