Lead track Scatter sees Friction teaming up with Total Science for a drum-heavy roller that shakes and rattles with infectious energy. Battle Scars proves to be just as deep an exercise in drum and bass and finds the Shogun main man working with label newcomers Fourward and it digs deep into the psyche of timeless drum and bass, no doubt helped by the distinctive tones of Jakes.
