Dom’s upped the ante once again with his Dubs From The Dungeons series… Not content with dusting off his own percy classics, he’s brought in some of the most influential peers in drum & bass history. Peers like the one and only Dillinja who’s taken us right back to the Blue Note 1997 with two still-futureproofed sci-fi hurters. “End Of The Line” is understated and heads-down machine funk with all the graininess you expect from the era. “Acid Roller” is a more dominant steppy jam with insane amen flurries firing up the fills and a bassline that’s perplexingly distorted yet crisp. Listen closely and you can hear the foundations of another well known Dillinja tune. Go for gold.
