Drum ‘n’ bass producer dBridge has been putting his name to bangers since the 90s, but his latest release comes in a more unassuming and playful mood. This one on R&S – the ‘Move Way’ EP shows dBridge taking a hybrid approach, weaving elements of his drum ‘n’ bass groundwork through grubbier dub rhythms and the roughly hewn edges of a more experimental techno sound, Move Way also features a sample taken from a Peter Tosh documentary. The aggressive dancefloor churner Move Way and B-movie horror-evoking drum ‘n’ bass roller Death of A Drum Machine have already been posted online, but here you can stream them for the first time along with the EP’s closer Plain To See, a meandering track full of synth play and fizzling distortion.

‘Move Way’ has been used in Doc Scott’s Future Beats series.
