Nearly 10 years on from it’s last release, Phantom Audio relaunches and what better way to start than to go back to the very beginning!
Originally released on Dec 6th 1999, Phantom Force went on to become one of the legendary dnb anthems, still being heard in sets today. Fracture tears it apart and takes it right into 2013 with a mammoth half-stepping groove, led by those familiar pounding stabs, nervous strings and intricate break edits.
Digital & Spirit go to work on Backlash themselves, harking back to the Techstep era (remember the Torque album on No-U-Turn?) this was an era where the beats where dirty and the mood was heavy for a trademark slice of sub-heavy organised breakbeat chaos.
Both tracks are highly recommended!
